Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful! Love the stitching! A+++ I really love this bridle! I ride it with a french link snaffle and the bit loops looks beautiful! I use this oakbark bridle with an HDR advantage saddle that is also on sale at statelinetack.com it looks so great put together! The bridle comes with soft leather but the reigns are a little stiffer. With some leather conditioner it was just as soft as the bridle. Very easy to put together. The stitching contrasts the oakbark color beautifully! Would definitely buy this again! I've been using it in class A shows and it seems to be doing miracles! :) January 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this bridle so much! this bridle came to me a bit tough at first. oiled it, now it's perfect. My horse loves it, i love it, good for show, everyday, everything. buy this bridle. the price is amazing for the quality. would buy this thing for $300 if it were at that price. There's not really anything else I can say. i just love this thing! April 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Show Bridle For The Money Got this bridle to match a new saddle i got a few months ago. I needed Cob size and it is a perfectly sized cob bridle. Great quality, very nicely made. I love it!! February 14, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Pretty Bridle I got this bridle about 3 years ago and its still in very nice condition...when i first got it the leather was veryy soft..and still is...the reins are very nice and the bridle is gorgous..the color has faded now and doesnt look very "show quality" anymore..i show jumpers so it doesnt matter..but the bridle is very nice and the leather is very flexible. Why did you choose this?
Statelinetack.com Store
Great value for good quality product.

I choose this because I wanted a bridle to match my particularly hard to match hunter saddle. Saddle it was to light but other wise very pretty and good quality.
Becky P on Jun 23, 2015
does this come with reins? if not, what reins would you use with it? i don't want to end up getting reins that don't match.
A shopper on Nov 10, 2014
Best Answer: Yes it comes with matching leather plaited reins. I don't personally like the quality of them, they're very stiff, but they match the bridle.

I have a lighter colored pessoa oakbark saddle and wondering if this oakbark bridle will match. Does it get really dark when oiled?
Stella S on Aug 2, 2015
Best Answer: I am ok with this bridle... For the price it is good. The underside of the leather is a bit rough but in my experience that kind of thing gets better with time and conditioning. As far as coloring, if you want it to get darker, I don't think regular oil will do too much. However, I love hydrophanes leather darkening oil. (I got mine on dovers website). It's fairly mild on this bridle but after several applications it darkened it nearly perfectly to match my oakbark breastplate of a different brand. I love hydrophanes oil in general but this leather darkening careful changed the leather bit by bit. So I wouldn't worry too much about leather oil but if you need it darker that's the way to go. Of course always test a small portion. Hope that helps!

What does the Hazelnut color really look like? I have a Courbette Newmarket color saddle that I'm trying to find a bridle to match.
Alexis S on Aug 20, 2015
Best Answer: Hazelnut is a light red/ brown color.
