how do I know what size of reins to order?
Dustie on Aug 18, 2015
Best Answer: It depends on the size of your horse. Pony reins (not an option for this item) are usually 48", "average horse" are usually the 54" size, "large horse" are usually the 60" size, and the 72" size is used with oversize and/or draft horses. Is there a pair you're already using that you could measure? If your current ones are too long or too short, you would know which way you wanted to go.
