Great reviews and a decent price for our personal use on our horses.

I saw it at a Farrier store for about $30.00 more and I needed a good stand at a reasonable price.

how big is the base?
A shopper on Mar 27, 2015
Best Answer: This is a full metal stand, the bottom is around 16" across, it doesn't tip over at all , This is a very well made stand, with three different tops for it, I can use this with front feet also, but it is really for the back feet. I like it a lot.

Is this small enough for minis?
Tracy S on Nov 30, 2015
Best Answer: I asked the young lady who trims my horses what she thought and here is her answer below. FYI -she has trimmed minis before.
In my personal opinion, this is not best suited to mini's. While you can certainly use it, the height cranks their legs up much higher than necessary and isn't very comfortable for them. That especially applies if you have a mini with any arthritic issue. I would suggest the Hoofjack Mini or the Hoof-it Junior (sold here on Stateline Tack) as better alternatives. The Hoofjack and Hoof-it Stands are also superior in quality- definitely more bang for your buck durability wise.
