I've bought 5 of these now... I have 4 horses, 2 full grown 1 yearling and one mini horse.. All of them love these blocks entirely too much! My yearling went through his in 2 weeks, Had to buy the 5th one, Received it 3 days ago, and hes already half way through it.
I got these as treats for them, and to get minerals in their system. I completely approve of them and do believe they are all well worth it!
Horses water intake has definitely increased and they seem slightly happier.
I only note the price 4 stars because they really dont last all that long, and i've seen similar blocks that are larger for less. But they are not on the convenient rope, Though the rope eventually gets licked down to and the salt wheel falls off of it...ended up having to put the left over piece in my yearlings feed tray.
My thoroughbred and mini are nearly through with it, i'll probably have to replace theirs in 2 weeks, so theirs lasted a good month and a half, which is good.
Definitely worth the buy! Dont think about it on this one, its worth its weight in gold on this. Horses LOVE it.

I bought this on a whim, figuring it would be nice to put something in my mare's stall. When she first saw it, she sniffed then started licking and biting it right away. I have had it several weeks and it doesn't look too worn down. I suspect it will last a good while. She still loves it, I find her licking it for minutes at a time.

It is impossible to convey how much my Arabian mare loves this thing. She ignores her salt block now and seems to have a good time with this one. To bust boredom you could hang it where the horse can't push it against the wall - it would be a great stall toy.

This is a great product for you and your horse. It's healthier than regular salt because it's not processed, is highly digestable and even lowers blood pressure for people with hypertension. I also take it and my doctor is amazed how it stabilizes my blood pressure.

Owner & horse approved. Love the fact that it hangs up and not on the ground with all the manure. Horse licks it everyday and it's been up for 5 months. I only use these now and recommend them to any horse owner.

Great product! A little pricier than a regular block, but it lasts longer. The holder I used on the regular block never held it for long and I wound up replacing the block regularly. Not with this one! And most importantly, my horse loves it. He usually chews these things and goes through them quickly, however he soon learned it is too hard to chew and strictly licks now. Great stall toy to relieve boredom as well! Highly recommend this product!

My paint loves this, we've had it for about three weeks and its almost gone. His coat is also noticeably shinier. My quarter horse loves to scratch his face on it but has not yet figured out that it's a snack

This is a great product! You can hang it just about anywhere and since it is off the ground you waste less of it. Our ponies love it and will lick it until I think their tongues are getting soar. I really think it is better then any other salt lick out there. They just shine since we started hanging these around. The blocks do last awhile too. 3 ponies licking 2 blocks of salt will last approx. 8-10 weeks if kept out of the rain. We all love it and have no plans of changing to anything else in the future.

I buy one or two of these every time I place an order here-- especially with the cheap shipping going on right now. My mare loves these, and they fit on her Jolly Stall snack well, so instead of feeding her sugar with the snack holder I'm feeding her salt. They don't last that long for her- 4.4 lbs lasts about a month- but she loves them and they're extremely cheap so I buy them here all the time!

I hung this up in my mare's stall in hopes that it would not only be good for her, but would keep her occupied in her stall when she had to stay in. She loves it! Given, she's draining water buckets like mad, I am happy she is enjoying the salt lick.

I put it up as soon as I got to the barn. He loved it so much that he did not stop licking it for 20 minutes straight. I think he only stopped because his tongue got tired. Best decision I made to buy this.

My horse absolutely loves this salt block. He goes crazy over it and is not very fond of regular salt blocks. Ever since ive been giving him this block ive notices his coat looking better cause its full of minerals and everything. I recommend this to anyone who wants to change up there regular salt block once in awhile.

I put one of these up in my 7 month old filly's stall and after three weeks it is nearly gone. She seems to absolutely love it.

I have one of the pickiest horses there are, he hates peppermint, carrots, bannanas, oats anything pretty much except for apples, his feed and grass. He however loves this! I hung it up in his stall and he loves playing with it! I also love the fact that he actually is licking something that is good for him and not processed 20x.

I hung one of these up in the pasture of my field-boarded horses. They LOVE it, and choose it over the big red and white blocks on the ground. The small size lasted 6 months with 3 horses in the field.
