Got this and a blocker tie ring for my neighbor who doesn't have a barn or hitching post. He can put this on the fence or the side of his horse's lean to.

can you attach it a horse trailer? for like hay bags or buckets
Hannahbear4321 on Feb 21, 2015
Best Answer: Yes you could, I would not recommend it. Here is why and it's just my opinion.... 1) This is wider than the bracing in your trailer wall, thus you would only be bolting to the side wall not the structure, 2) this is not meant to break. So for example if a horse got it's leg caught in the feedbag, it could pull a hole in your trailer wall (which I have seen done).

You might want to look at a trailer parts website or call a dealer of your brand of trailer. The tie rings on most newer trailers are made of aluminum and will break (generally) before damage is done to the trailer. Also these rings are generally set at the distance the rivets already exist so no extra holes, you just remove the rivet and replace with a ring. Also round an unlikely to cut or damage your horse if you install lower...here is one site. horsetraileraccessorystore (look for tie loops)
