Can these be used outside?
A shopper on Jan 26, 2016
Best Answer: I used it outside (Southern California) and wrote the details for the vet, phone numbers, etc. in black Sharpie. Over the course of several months the writing was very hard to see. It might work if you placed a plastic sleeve (like a report cover) around it. Otherwise it's not going to work for long-term.

WOULD THIS BE OK OUTSIDE?
RHONA P on Oct 3, 2015
Best Answer: I have the stall plate on the outside of my barn, but it is somewhat protected by the roof overhang. I have replaced it about every 5 years as it does eventually deteriorate due to direct hit of afternoon sun.
