Recommended Use:
Select the usage rate depending on the needs of each particular horse. Six ounces would be considered as the standard dose, providing the full 30 mg of biotin and the maximum daily recommended dose of the Zinpro® brand organic trace minerals. Do not exceed the maximum recommended usage rate of 5 ounces per horse, per day. Horses with less severe hoof skin/coat needs may respond very well to smaller daily doses of 4 or even 2 ounces.
Introduce Glänzen 3® into the diet gradually, working up to the desired usage rate of a period of 10 to 14 days. Do not exceed 6 ounces per horse, daily.
Just add Glänzen 3® on top of the daily grain ration. If your horse is an “easy keeper” and weight gain is a concern, you may want to cut your grain back a bit to compensate for the calories provided by the Glänzen 3®. Generally, Glänzen 3®will provide about 1.75 times as much energy (calories) as a similar feeding of oats.
