Washing Instructions - Machine wash with cold water – Gentle cycle with mild detergent. Air Dry or Machine Dry/No Heat.

Horses Turned Outside without Shelter - Turnout Sheet and Blanket materials are waterproof and designed to keep your horse dry, however if your horse is turned out in a field without a run in shed or shelter during prolonged rain or heavy downpours your horse may still get wet especially in the neck and tail areas.

When blanketing your horse it is critical to monitor the fluctuating climate and temperatures even with a blanket that is waterproof and breathable. The wicking properties of a breathable blanket are designed to wick away normal body heat, when a blanket is too heavy the heat and moisture cannot be wicked away fast enough causing your horse to sweat. The temperature and the length of your horse’s coat will determine what weight of blanket you should use. For this reason, most people who choose to blanket horses have several articles of horse clothing that offer varying levels of warmth.

Why did you choose this? Store
Love the Horseware products. Will not use any other product due to leg strap snaps continually malfunctioning. The triple surcingle system fits horse so well.

what does "has a liner system" mean?
Jill F on Feb 16, 2016
Best Answer: I don't know what "has a liner system" means. I didn't see any place to obviously attach a liner. In fact there were no instructions at all in terms of how to put it on a horse and secure it... or for anything else. However, it is pretty easy to figure out how to use it, and once figured out, it goes on easily and comes off easily... a couple of minutes on and off, once the straps are adjusted. My horses really appreciated wearing it when the temperature went to zero overnight, but if it's just in the 20s or 30s they don't need it. Nice to have on hand when needed, high quality product, fits well.
