Washing Instructions - Machine wash with cold water – Gentle cycle with mild detergent. Air Dry or Machine Dry/No Heat.

Horses Turned Outside without Shelter - Turnout Sheet and Blanket materials are waterproof and designed to keep your horse dry, however if your horse is turned out in a field without a run in shed or shelter during prolonged rain or heavy downpours your horse may still get wet especially in the neck and tail areas.

When blanketing your horse it is critical to monitor the fluctuating climate and temperatures even with a blanket that is waterproof and breathable. The wicking properties of a breathable blanket are designed to wick away normal body heat, when a blanket is too heavy the heat and moisture cannot be wicked away fast enough causing your horse to sweat. The temperature and the length of your horse’s coat will determine what weight of blanket you should use. For this reason, most people who choose to blanket horses have several articles of horse clothing that offer varying levels of warmth.

What is the gram weight? Is there any fill?
A shopper on Mar 24, 2015
Best Answer: No fill, perfect for Northern California winter nights. Great fit on my high withered Warmblood?/TB cross.
My vet suggested it because it's so roomy in the withers, Love it!!

I have an Andalusian/Friesian cross with high neck set and wide shoulders. Will this work?
Sheryl K on Oct 20, 2015
Best Answer: The Horseware are cut for bigger type horses. Although each horse is unique, I have a Belgium / TB that is almost 18hhs and weighs 1600lbs (weighed at the vet). All I buy him are the Horseware blankets and they fit him great. Specifically, I have the Rambo Wug lite in purple / silver and the one in the chocolate plaid; they both fit perfectly. Hope that helps!

How does this run? Do you think I need to order a size up for a percheron -thorough. cross?
A shopper on Nov 18, 2014
Best Answer: I ordered a 78 for my very narrow 17'2" T'bred.
The length from neck to tail is perfect- but it hangs down a little long because he's thin. So it depends on how much Percheron you've got in your horse.
