Does this pad have the same construction as the Impact Gel LDXT pad?
Pam C on Dec 4, 2013
Best Answer: The ldxt looks relatively new I'm not sure that it would be the same but they look very similar if you already own an impact gel you know how great they are. I bought it in may and I will never own another pad again. I used to like professionals choice charmagne James but these are no comparison I have an appendix and a thoroughbred and this pad does wonders

Does anybody think this saddle pad would fit a 15'' barrel racing saddle??
Lexi S on Jul 8, 2015
Best Answer: Lexi my saddle is a 16 inch endurance saddle, and the pad fits with maybe 3 inches to spare. I ride in the mountains with a lot of up-and-down, and the pad doesn't slip. But IF you have a saddle that slips forward or backwards much at all, I don't think you would have much wiggle-room with this pad. My horses are gaited horses with short backs, which is part of the reason I love this pad. It also provides a lot of cushion without being bulky. If you have a longer-backed quarter horse though, there may be a longer pad that will work better for you. If I barrel raced I could probably answer your question better, but I just don't know how much saddles slip when barrel racing. Hope that helps-

Is this pad specifically designed for treeless saddles or can it be used under a saddle with a tree?
A shopper on May 15, 2015
Best Answer: I use this pad under 3 different round skirted saddles with trees. This pad really makes a difference in my horses comfort and my equine chriropractor really noticed a difference in my horses from last year

Will this fit a 15inch square barrel saddle?
Roger D on Jul 6, 2015
Best Answer: I would get the 30 by 30 contour pad to fit a square skirted saddle. I have put the barrel pad under a smaller square skirted saddle but if it is a 15 inch, I believe the 30 x 30 would fit perfectly.
