This is a Great idea and they worked really well on my saddle with my 5 point breast plate the only thing that i found was the rope part of these were a little to long as it tends to sit at a lower downwards angle sloping across the knee role of the saddle but really good idea and they still work well they are made of good quality leather with i find can sometimes be lacking in smaller products but these were of high quality maybe this would work better with just a normal breastplate and not a 5 point over all still vary happy with this product

Surpassed my expectations!, 3/5/2010

I bought the d ring savers along with the rolled grab strap. I had to buy the d ring savers for two reasons. a) I wanted to extend the life of my saddle. b)I use a martingale that already attaches to my d rings when riding one of my horses. I ordered the economy shipping. I expected it to get here in 7-10 days, it got here in 2!! The d ring savers seem to be very high quality. They work great for my rolled grab strap. I would defiantly buy from Stateline tack again! :)
