How does the breastplate attach to the girth?
Montana S on Jul 26, 2015
Best Answer: You can either attach a snap and snap it to the loop on your girth or you can put the girth through the opening on the collar. Hope this helps.

would this fit a 17 hand warmblood? What running martingale do you suggest?
A shopper on Jan 13, 2015
Best Answer: Yes, I believe this would fit your horse. My tbred is 16.2 and it fits him. He is narrow in the chest so it is on the last hole, so I believe it will fit your warm blood just fine. As far as a running martingale goes, I would try a running attachment with this breast plate first, depending on how tight you want the martingale to be. A majority of martingales I've tried tend to be too short for mine and he is not l I n in the neck.

How do you attach the breastplate to the girth? The loop is too small for my girth to slip through and it is continuous and doesn't open so you can't attach a snap.
Cayce on Nov 18, 2015
Best Answer: The loop is supposed to fit over the girth, it easily fits all 3 of mine. I do not believe there is a way to adjust it and make it larger.

Does this actually come with a martingale attachment? It is stated as such but not shown in the picture. Thanks!
Kimberley K on Dec 3, 2013
Best Answer: The Kincade Elastic Y Fit Breastplate does not come with a martingale attachment, well at least mine did not. The color in the picture is misleading, the elastic is more of a reddish brown.
