Rated 4 out of 5 by Great!! I dont personally own these but we use them at the barn i ride at. They are really great because my instructor can just say "shorten to blue" or "hands in pink" to help me know how to hold the reins :) great for beginners and they are colorful too! Just watch with them in heat...they can melt. They were stiff when we first used them but they have loosened up some. great product! December 14, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good I love thease reins because they help me with training my new horse to know where my hands go but they give me blisters if i am not wearing gloves but besides that very nice. March 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great! but one flaw :/ I was so amazed with the quality of these reins when i got them! they are a bit stiff when you first get them but as u ride with them they get better quickly!!! the rubber colors were a little lopped on mine :/ not quite even but the real flaw i was worried about was if they get hot they try to melt :S so if you realy love them like i did keep them cool! Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Reins I just got these reins today in the mail and they are amazing! I have only used them once but from what i saw and felt they are awesome! There are just two things. 1. They were extremely stiff when they came out of the box and didn't show any signs of getting better when I rode. 2. The price is really expensive. Unless you really want these reins, i would say get some that are a little cheaper. But overall they are AWESOME! July 14, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great For Lesson Programs And Beginers! I don't have these myself but at my trainers they do. It really helps the beginers to know how short or long the reins should be when doing all 3 gaits. The instructor would just say "shorten your reins to the pink" etc. And they are nice and grippy, so the reins don't slide as easy. Another bonus is the nice colors. I would totally recomend these for any lesson program or yourself; I am going to get a pair soon! Excellent! August 28, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great! I have used these reins on many diffrent types of horses, and they work excellent. They keep your hands in place and help when showing! March 15, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Reinbow Reins These are fairly good reins. I have used them in several shows and they really help you keep your hands even because of the colors. The only downside to these reins, well, during the summer my friend had them in the tackroom at our barn and the pink melted off!! Keep them in AC when not in use, otherwise they are great!! Works well for kids learning where to properly hold the reins. My Niece loves to use them. Good visual aid.

How do you attach the reins to the bridle and can you put rein snaps on them for easy attachment?
R M on Apr 8, 2014
Best Answer: They are English hook closures like most English reins with the closures on the inside, not the buckles on the outside. Yes you could easily attach snap with a square side.

I have been hesitant to purchase these reins for our daughter, as they are not american made, and considering the dog leather trade in China and India, we avoid purchasing leather from those countries. Please consider finding USA manufacture of these or make them synthetic. Is this something you can look into?
