Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as good as I thought I bought this bridle for everyday use, schooling, and loc al showing. I am quite disappointed. I have ownEd this bridle for almost a year, and it wasn't being used very much up until a couple months ago. It arrived very stiff, and was hard to put together, even after several oilings. I thought it might soften up with use, but it never has. Just this week, the throatlatch ripped right off! It is not a replacable one either, so now I must buy a new bridle. I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place: suck it up and pay for a good bridle. This bridle is nice I color, but VERY stiff, hard to use, and the leather cracks, even with regular care. I was told kincade was cheap, but decided to take my chances. I should have listened to my trainer and friends. March 20, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST OVERALL This is a great little bridle i bought it my 7 year old sister for her pony and it worked wonders thank you so much June 13, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by 100% Happy! Fantastci Bridle! This purchase was the second Kincade purchase I have made from SLT. My first purchase was a Kincade Lead line saddle for my 5 year old daughter. I recieved that with no problems. I was a little leary on buying this bridle based on the only other feedback comment but I received the size I ordered and was very happy with the quality. After a good oil, the bridle was ready to use and looks/feels great on my horse. I recommend this product 100% and haven't had any negative experiances with the Kincade brand. July 16, 2009
Rated 3 out of 5 by Stiff leather, wrong size. Kincade truly lived up to its name in my book, everyone told me they ALWAYS send the wrong size, and the price was so great, I bought it and what did they do.. they sent me full size when I ordered Horse. Got it, tried to send it back didnt even open package and they wouldnt let me return it. So now Im stuck with a bridle thats too small, and not to mention, the leather is extremely stiff and feels very cheap. You get what you pay for. April 18, 2009

i have a 15.3 mare quarter horse. what size bridal should i get her????? a full or a quarter?????
Maddie on Nov 6, 2014
Best Answer: I would say it depends on your mare. I have seen a lot of variation in quarter horse head size. If your mare has a petite, typey little face, I would try the quarter. If she has a larger, longer, fuller face, I'd try the full first ...
And make sure of the return policy if the one you choose ends up to be not quite right-- so you can exchange. I hope this helps :)

i have a halfinger mare what size would i need?
A shopper on Jul 27, 2015
Best Answer: If you need a warmblood halter and flymask, then do the Kincade warmblood size. If all else fails, you can exchange it for horse size, but I think this will fit.

Have a 14.3 Morgan. What size bridle should I get? Cob? Full? Wish State Line would have some advise regarding sizes.
Kathleen Acheson M on May 11, 2014
Best Answer: I bought the pony size for a pony, but its a little small. I was able to punch some add'l holes in the chin strap so it works, but even the nose band could be larger. I really should have gotten the cob size. If your Morgan is 14.3, I would go with the full size... unless he/she has a small face, then maybe Cob, but you can always put in add'l holes if you necessary. Hope this helps.

I bought this bridle in 'Pony' size for my 13.3 H welsh/arab cross. The nose band is a little high, even on lowest hole, and the throat latch is too short to even reach first hole. Should I reorder it in Cob, Full, or maybe even Quarter?
Faith J on Aug 15, 2015
Best Answer: I ordered a cob size for my 14.1 arab and there's room to go in either direction for his little head
I always order cob size for my arab and that seems to fit across the board regardless of brand, hope this helps!
