Why did you choose this?

I wanted to get a new saddle that was part synthetic and part leather. I like the way this one looks and it should be much lighter than my current all leather saddle. Unfortunately this saddle did not work out and I had to return it. Advertised weight was 21 Lb but it was actually 33 Lb.

I like the king series of saddles and I needed something lighter then my current saddle which is for showing. Now I just like to trail ride and a lighter saddle is easier for me and more comfortable for my horse,

Why does it look like the dark oil saddle is a completely different saddle than the other colors? The seat contour, the stirrups, the hardware or lack there of? I notice bigger skirts, D rings for breast collar, different contour of seat, different stirrups, leather strings but no silver on the billit holder on the other saddles. Are these all the same? Because they do not look like it and I need to know before I purchase. I am wanting to order a 15" and I like the look of the dark oil but it lacks feature the other ones have.I need the light chestnut to match my other tack but I cannot decide which saddle I want to order if they are different or come with different things

Best Answer: The angle/size of the display picture makes it appear smaller and is missing the leather saddle strings, however, they are all the same saddle.

I am looking for a new saddle for my Thoroughbreds. I like the look of this saddle. I have always had QH and my saddles are not fitting their withers. Would a semi quarter bar be appropriate? I am not 100% how to fit them and I don't have a thousand to spend on a new saddle.
A shopper on Jun 24, 2015
Best Answer: Probably? Unfortunately it's not possible to guarantee fit in advance. This saddle does have semi Quarter Horse bars, which are more likely to fit a Thoroughbred, and the gullet width is 6 1/2", which is a bit narrower than the 6 3/4" I see on some other brands.

How high will the stirrups go up? I sit in a 16in saddle, but can find one where the stirrups can be adjusted to fit my short length. Thanks
Alex P on Jun 15, 2015
Best Answer: I'm sorry, this is not a standard measurement provided by the manufacturer. All stirrups are adjustable and if need be, you can add additional holes.
