i was looking for a stiffer rope halter because me 7 yr old mare needed something to get her attention and this worked well its not extremlly stiff but its just enough to do the job but i thought the lead rope was a little too thin for me

I recently bought this for use on horses I was training and I love it! The lead rope is soft and flexible and the halter holds it's shape while conforming to each horses' head. I highly recommend this product! It is by far the best rope halter I've found(that's cheap)!

This is just like the halter the australian trainer uses but without the inflated price. The only difference is, this rope measures about 5/16" while the alternative halters measure about 1/4". I prefer the 1/4" because it looks nicer and applies more pressure but thats because there is less bearing surface. This halter will last forever and will take a ton of bumping on. The 1/4" are pricier but this one is nice for a horse in training because they can tear this halter up and its super cheap to replace if it ever came to that point.

Fits my 15.2 hh TWH 5-year old. Knots need some adjusting, but it isn't hard. I love that it's available. I've been looking for this exact product for over a year!!

Ordered this halter to use on my 8yr old paint. Have to say, it is an excellent product for a great price. Comparable to the high end rope halters.

I have three of these halters. I use them on a 14h pony, 15h Quarter Horse, and 16h Draft. The drafts was snug at first but has stretched a little. He had a habit of "popping" his head to break snaps. After "testing" his a couple of times that's not a problem anymore! Love the extra long lead for groundwork & tying up to trees on the trail. The extra knots on the nose are a plus and they are a better value than the "professional" halters.

In the picture it looks like this has a ton of excess rope hanging at the closure point, my horse's head is big but isn't THAT big... this doesn't fit her and the draft horse sized one I have is way to big. Anyway, it's good quality and the closure at the end of the rope is neatly melted with a rubbery product instead of metal.
