I am buying for an 18 yr old, 140lb, 5ft 6in female. What size would you reccommend?
A shopper on Dec 17, 2014
Best Answer: Not sure, I'm 64 yr old female, 5ft3in 119lb wear size 8 1/2 boot, place measuring tape on floor, have her step on it wearing her riding boots, measured across instep then add 1/2 to 1 inch to accommodate wearing winter boots. Also check how your old stirrups fit. Very happy with these Korsteels, broken ankle does'nt bother me nor bad knee and I ride 4 to 5 times a week all year long.

What size do I need?
A shopper on Nov 21, 2015
Best Answer: You will need to measure your foot and then look up what's recommended. Ideally, you need space around each side of your foot so your foot can safely slip out in case you need to quickly dismount. But not so mucch space that your foot flaps around in the space. You should be able to find a fitting guide if you google it for stirrups.

Where exactly do these "flex"? Do they lock into place or stay flexible? How do they help with knee pain while riding? Thanks!
Barb C. on Nov 11, 2013
Best Answer: The base of the stirrup where your foot sits rotates to help your heel stay down. It only rotates down and back, so there's no danger of it sending your toe downward.
