This lunging chin strap will make lunging any horse easier!

Does this go over the nose piece of the bridle to act like a caveson, or under the chin?
A shopper on Mar 19, 2016
Best Answer: Under the chin. It's pretty large for my horse...it doesn't sit close to chin but then of course that allows for the reins. I have used it quite a bit and found it works well. My horse is used to lunging so is generally well-behaved...don't think he has ever been really silly with it on but even if he was, I think this would be ok. There is definitely not the same level of control you would have with a lunge line over the poll.

is this to hang your bull whip off of say like your belt?
Thank You
Cindy B on Jun 10, 2014
Best Answer: No. Is this a real question? The two snaps go on the bit rings on either side of the horse's face. The leather strap goes under his chin. Your longe line attaches to the metal ring in the center. This gives you the ability to longe your horse in either direction without having to change the side on which your longe line is attached.
