Do this work if you have a very hyper horse? I mean very hyper! Lol. Thanx
Wisdom D on Jan 20, 2014
Best Answer: If you were rating your horse on a scale of 1 to 10...10 being super hyper this is what I would say. I used this on 2 of my horses. One horse being a 6 or 7 and one being a 5. The horse thats a five; I gave 1 wafer to each time I rode that day (twice). It just about put him to sleep. I stopped giving it to him. The horse that rated a 6 to 7 (depending on her mood); I gave her one with no reaction. I gave her one more and there was a small change in her. I rode her several days in a row, giving her one wafer from then on each time I rode. It seemed to help, but does not my any means bring them down to really calm. Just takes the edge off somewhat. The other thing is I had to break it up and mix with the regular Omega Wafers to get her to eat it. They don't like the smell & so it is difficult to get them to eat them.
