my horse stepped on a nail and had surgery, would these be a help?
A shopper on Jan 18, 2015
Best Answer: I think they would help, and certainly not hurt to try. I buy them for a horse who had a bad wire cut on her coronet band, causing a vertical crack in her hoof. Although it has not completely healed, it looks better and she recovered from lameness. Plus she loves them!

does this make the hoof GROW or just a hardener? Looking as comparing this to smarthoof. Thank you
A shopper on Mar 31, 2015
Best Answer: My TB mare has brittle front hooves. I used to feed her these treats because they helped keep her feet healthy. I didn't notice that they grew more or that it made them harden. There are a lot of good ingredients for a healthy hoof.

She LOVED them! Unfortunately she now has been diagnosed with laminitis and is on a restricted diet so she can no longer have them. :(

How many days of cookies if I order a 3 lb bag?
Scooter's mom on Sep 30, 2015
Best Answer: They list a nutritional maximum and minimum. I give Ginger 4 a day , but give her friends some as well. The bag might last a couple of weeks.
