how do you know which size to purchase?

Best Answer: When your boot is in the stirrup you want about a finger's width of space between your boot and the edge of the stirrup (one finger on each side of your boot). So measure the part of your riding boot that would be in the stirrup and then add about an inch. I wear a ladies' size 10 boot and my stirrups are the 5" size.
