Are these okay to compete in Equitation?--wasn't sure due to the rubber side.

Best Answer: In my opinion, yes. The multiple adjustments get your foot in your most comfortable position. The foot bed is wider and more secure. I believe the rubber allows you to flex the foot bed and " work the sturrip ". I ride Hunter Paces and love them. Hope this helps as I don't do equitation.
