There are eight Cupreon bits to choose from, each with high quality stainless steel cheeks. The Cupreon material is exclusive to Mikmar. Cupreon is a top-quality copper alloy which promotes salivation and mouthing of the bit. It warms easily in the mouth, is non-toxic and Nickel free, and is well-accepted by all horses. The Ergöm Lozenge Mouthpiece is approved by both the USEF and USDF. It is a double-jointed style mouthpiece with a grooved center link. The structure of the mouthpiece is specially tailored to conform to each horse’s mouth. The bars are 16mm in diameter and are curved, which avoids any uncomfortable “nutcracker action”, tongue pinching, or palate interference. The Cupreon material ensures saliva production and also disperses the pressure evenly over the tongue. Not only will your horse’s mouth be relaxed, but it will also stay soft and fresh.
