This works great on my gelding and kills the thrush within 1-2 applications but it is a big mess. You have to hold the bottle a certain way other wise a lot comes out all at once and if you get it on anything prepare for it to be staned for at least a week (hence, hands). I also got some on my horses beautiful hite sock and it is now been stained for a week at least! I would only reccomend if you have thrush that is getting out of control and need to kill it fast. I would also reccomend a hoof moisturizer along afterwards.

My two horses have consistently had issues with tender feet due to thrush but the Thrush Buster does the trick. They are adjusting to barefoot with me doing the trimming and have to have healthy frogs and heels to do well. I used a product 30 years ago like this, maybe it was the same thing then lost track of it, so glad I found it again. With the exceptional amount of snow, wet, mud etc. causing a nasty mess even when manure is picked up twice a day fighting thrush is a real challlenge. Messy, longer necked, smaller diameter applicator tip would be a nice change, maybe a curved one to facilitate the positions necessary to apply in cracks and crevices would be a REAL plus.

This stuff kills thrush, but it is painful for the horse. My horse actually ruined his hoof that had the thrush buster in it by banging it down on the floor so he could get relief from the stinging sensation that it caused. My farrier stated the ingredients in it will sting and cause horses to bang their hooves to find relief as my horse had done.

this product is amazing! my horse had a moderate amount of thrush in all 4 feet and thrush buster knocked it out in only about 10 applications! i have tried tons of different thrush treatments and this is the only one that has worked. i am so thankful for this product!

I have been a farrier for over 14 years and have been using Thrush Buster on the horses I have shod for most of those years. Thrush Buster kills White Line disease as well as Thrush. I have always put Thrush Buster on the white line before nailing on horse shoes as peventitive maintenance. This product is worth every penny and has made me look good more than once!! I recommend this product whole heartedly to every horse owner!

Over 5 years ago my farrier advised that I use this product. My horses tend towards thrush in the moist seasons and I always felt like I was a day late a dollar short. I used the product during a particularly bad thrush episode and it cured the thrush within a week. During the wet seasons I generally apply this product once per week and they have not gotten thrush since the outbreak when I initially used the product. It is easy to use it does stain but the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages so I am just very careful while applying and I hold the hoof up for a few moments for it to completely soak in and dry. I use it on all three of my horses and I do not particularly find the odor noxious.
I use sparingly so while it would be nice if it were less expensive I am not using any other products so I count my savings there. Would highly recommend!

This stuff lasts a long time and works extremely well. My mare has had thrush, and Thrush Buster cleared it up in just two days. We reapply it as needed, but usually the stench is gone after one application.
