Burned my Horse, 1/14/2013

I was really excited about this pad. I was disapointed that it burned my horse and came unglued the first time i used it. I hope that this pad works for others but my horse and i were not satisfied.

Great Pad, 10/9/2012

I ride very challenging trails and its first use was 20 miles of combined road and trails in southeastern MN. I only buy felt because it does not slip. This pad stays in place and so did my saddle. It seemed to cushion my horse well; I have an Abetta 15" saddle and I am about 120#. This pad soaks up sweat through the canvas. There are three thin layers of felt. I think it would accommodate a 16" saddle, but no bigger. If your saddle is heavy, you might want another felt pad under this one. Delivery only took 3 days :) I've never had a pad soak through with sweat; temp was about 40F degrees.
