Bought this as a training tool for my coming 3 year old. My youngster took to it right away and doesn't even mind if I fumble around trying to get it on. Great practice for when the real thing goes over the ears as this one doesn't pinch and is made of the softest material. I put it on my 15yo mare and she took to it right away. Re size I think it is a little small for a regular size horse. My mare is 14h and it fits her perfect. The baby is going to end up much taller and the fit right now is farther up the nose than I would like. I haven't tried to fit it as some of the others suggested but can see how that might work.

at first i didnt think it would fit, it looked so small, however, when i flipped around and tied it above her ears (i have a 13 yr old quarter horse mare) it fit great, to try to put it on like in the picture it would have never fit, but when flipped and tied on top it was so great. she loves it. my mare will not take a bit, but responded well to this. the only thing i do not like is the reins, they anr stretchy and kind of burn your hands if you have a mare like mine and she wants to get a little bullheaded and pull a little bit, but other than that, i love it!

mustang nylon bitless bridle from Olympic Peninsula
It is a great price but in my case it wasn't worth even that much. I have small Arabians and it wouldn't fit even one of them. There is no way to adjust it (and no, I didn't put it on 'wrong', I tried to put it on exactly the way it showed on the website). It wouldn't fit a foal, really. I am wondering if some of them were just made wrong since some people seem so happy with them. I was terribly disappointed.

if you put this on your horse, using the picture as your guide. Then you will find this bridle to be WAY to small. But if you put this on the way you would a rope halter then it fits great. I LOVE how soft the rope is. the reins alone are worth the money.

I loved the idea of this bitless bridle. I was so excited when it came in the mail today, but unfortunately, it doesn't fit either of my horses. One of my horses looks exactly like the one in the product picture. Too bad it's not adjustable.

I have an older Missouri Fox Trotter and it fits beautifully. I was unsure at first on the fit and then realized I was trying to put it on wrong, maybe this is the problem with some of the other posters not getting a good fit. My girl has a large head and it works great!
Buying a couple more to have as back-ups.

This is a wonderful item. My Icelandic mare has never had a bit in her mouth and she will act up with a bit. When I first got her she hadn't been ridden for a while and was lazy and barn sour. I tried several different bits on her only to have her start bucking. This gives me the contol I want and she minds it very well. She is starting to realize that her life of just eating and having it all her way is over! Thanks a bunch!!

This bridle fits on my mustangs and quarter horse. I did not think I was going to be able to get it on the quarter horse but it works. Wonderful product for the price paid. I now use with Mustang brand barrel nylon reins and love it!

Just barely fits my large Arab's head. DEFINITELY doesn't fit as low on him - even adjusting as far as I can - as the picture shows. I bought this as a multi-animal bridle but it only fits him and then just barely. I thought at first I wasn't adjusting it out as far as it will go. NICE price though. Just wish it would adjust out for the Mammoth donkey...

I really liked the idea of a bitless bridle, as I have one made of beta and one made of nylon...I use them regularly, but thought this one would be a good spare, especially for winter when the beta one gets stiff...problem is, it is too small for all of my horses but one...it fits the pony/cob size head, but doesn't fit your average horse head...if it came in a larger size, I wouldn't hesitate to get another one...very soft, non-abrasive, less-is-more, quality product
