the price and the reviews say the headstall is too long. I have a draft horse and all I need is the headstall, so this is perfect! it came in and it is perfect for my draft horse!!! i love it!!!!

Mare does not go well in a bit, at least the ones I've tried. Decided to try this instead, but didn't want to spend a lot until I saw whether she likes it..

does it come with reins?
izzzy on Oct 5, 2014
Best Answer: No it does not come with reins. Which for me wasnt an issue since there are always extra of reins in my tack room... typically the first item to wear out at my barn. Hope it helps your decision.

what color is it?
P H on Oct 29, 2015
Best Answer: The one I bought was brown, works real well on the horse we bought it for, I also use a running martingale to assist a new horse with his head placement.

I have a huge mare and she measures 40 inches for the head stall and 24 for the nose band will this fit her?
A shopper on Oct 11, 2015
Best Answer: She sounds like a big mare. I use mine on a qh/percheron gelding. He has a big head also, but with a hole punch and a bit of adjustment all works fine. Kathleen
