Why did you choose this? Store
Needed a mohair cinch for a more breathable ride. Does not rub on my gaited mare

Hoping this will work for the pony mule without chafing.

wider cinch holds my saddle in place well, better than neoprene or narrower rope/fleece girths.

I have one of these already and I like it.

how do i measure her for this cinch?
lilmama on Sep 21, 2014
Best Answer: lilmama, usually you have a cinch you are currently using, and replacing. Simply measure the cinch you are using from end of buckle to end of buckle, if "d" ring style from furthermost end of "D" to other end of "d". measurement will be what you want to order. If you are ordering one for a saddle you just don't have one on, set the saddle on your horse, with a pad under just as you would if your were going to cinch him up. Then measure from the bottom center of his chest where the cinch will go, up to the "d" on your saddle. Now then, once cinched up there should be about 4" to 6" inches between the cinch "d" and the saddle "d", so take the measurement you originally made, double it, (i.e. 23" X 2 = 46") from that number subtract 12" ( the space you want after cinching up on each side (6" + 6" + 12+)and the result is what you want to order. In this sample you would order a 34" cinch. Hope that helps!

what percentage is the mohair and what is it blended with?thanks
rae r on Jan 29, 2016
Best Answer: I am pretty sure it's a mix of Merlaino wool and synthetic fibers theses ones might have had the alpaca blend but I don't think so. They are great girths for endurance riding or if your horse is sweating a ton.they help keep them from getting sores!

is this the ride the brand cinch?
Lynne H on Sep 10, 2015
Best Answer: "Ride The Brand" is a Weaver brand statement. This particular cinch is a Mustang.
