Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product! I bought this in Lime Green. I am really satisfied, and Bought it on sale for $20. The buckles are good quality. The reins are supposed to be short because it is a BARREL RACING tack set, Like most of the Mustang tack is for Racing, Or Trails. The breast collar is a little big on my stocky Haflinger, But it still fits. The bridle runs a little large, but it works. The caveson I was happy with. The one thing I found was when we ran with the tie down, it would fall out. November 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this set !! i ordered the lime green for my 16.2 hh mare and it was alittle big so i had to punch holes in it but the color is Amazing ! i ordered the purple for my 14.2hh mare and it was huge ! but the color is amazing ! TIP : when youi punch holes put a nail throu them and melt around it with a lighter so it willnt fray :) June 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by i want to buy this... i was wondering how well this works, and if itll fit a horse with a big head... also, does it come with the bit shown in the picture? or just the headstall? June 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just bought this! I just bought this and I have a bridle at the barn in red (changing to blue) and i just love things like these... i love poly/nylon because it always comes in different colors and its cheap... I dont plan on using the tie down so ill probably let my friend use it since her horse also puts her head up. i am really looking forward to get it and i will probably recommend to everybody especially if your looking for your first tack set.... well you found the right place to get it... :) February 1, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by I hate the rein's (way too short) Learning to ride all over again. Thought this set would be great to get me started (all-in-one) I love the color (got purple) & almost all of set fits exceipt for the rein's (way too short) Maybe made for a small pony! But for the price well~ you get what you pay for so I'll just leave it at that. January 3, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Waste of Money Do not let the price temp you it's not worth it. th breast collar rubbed all the hair off my horses chest and the conway always slip off the the tie down. The headstall is too big for my 14.2 h grade horse. The reins are way to short unless our horse has a unusually short neck and they'll still probably be to short and the conway buckles slip off the feins too. Overall really bad quality and don't recommend this product at all. November 29, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by LOVE THIS!!! I love love love LOVE this set!! I've had a nylon headstall befor, but it felt lik it was flimsy and I didn't trust it, but this one is heavier and though! I would suggest buying different reins though...Other than that it %100 awesome(: August 17, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by AMAZING i love this bridle set though one tiny little problem i would prefer different reins they are flat and uncomfertabble (sorry for spelling errors )and their a little too shory but past that is a great bridle set :) July 18, 2011

Why did you choose this? Store
This is the best priced set around for what is included. Most other comparable sets cost twice as much or more. It's not super fancy, but it is durable. Breast collar is neoprene lined so it's nice and comfy for your horse. My only complaint would be that eventually (more than a year of daily use) the metal parts (dee rings and buckles) will rust. I' m working on my second set now.

It was a great price and my Black Walker Mare will look great in the Lime and as she is getting up there in age (she is 23 this year) we needed something new that was nice & bright!

what kind of bit is in this??
A shopper on Dec 3, 2014
Best Answer: There is no bit. And we haven't used this set because it is for small horses. The breast collar and martingale (tie-down) are very small. The reins are very short. So you need a pony or very small horse!

I have a few questions... Does it come with a bit? I'm almost positive it does but i just want to make sure. Also can you take off the breast collar?
A shopper on Nov 9, 2014
Best Answer: This tack set does not come with a bit. The breast collar can be taken off. I like this set but the reins were very short. I changed the reins because I prefer to ride with longer reins.

is the nose band connected or can you take it off from the headstall?
kaylababy on Sep 10, 2014
Best Answer: The noseband is actually part of the tie-down and is seperated from the headstall. They just don't have the rest of the tie-down attached in the picture.
