Why did you choose this?

Got this one, as it appears it is better for a smaller equine. I have a mini mule, so I hope I can save a larger hay net for a spare, for my larger equine, and have this one suit the needs of my mini.

I chose this net for my trailer to slow hay consumption. I'll use it in conjunction with the hay "bag" in the trailer to keep things neater.

What is the diameter of the holes ? I have bought one from you, I cannot remember what one it was, I'm looking for the smaller holes. Thank you, Judy

Best Answer: I believe these are 2" x 2" holes, I have the hay nets at my boarding barn so I am not able to double check to be certain. My friends who use these Niblets to feed all the time recommend starting with the larger diameter holes and once your horses adjust to eating this way move to the 1.5" or 1" diameter openings to really slow them down. I have many friend who use these on large bales and pasture feed with them all the time.
