Nine Pocket Ice Boot
 
The Nine Pocket Ice Boot is a prophylactic measure for use after a strenuous workout or competition to prevent heat or swelling. It can also be used after an injury to prevent or reduce inflammation. May be used on a front or hind leg. The exterior is a soft loop fabric over Neoprene and is held in place with six 7” hook and loop tabs. The interior is constructed of durable and soft elastic with nine pockets. Just slip ice packs or bagged ice into the pockets, wrap the boot around the leg, and affix the tabs for a perfect fit.

Best Answer: if you are trying to simply ice a tendon or hoof I do not prefer these boots. They are good for the vet schools dealing with foundering horses and crushed ice is needed for these boots. I like the Ice horse boots that are smaller for simpler icing.
