Why did you choose this?
Statelinetack.com Store
I have a previously sored Tennessee Walker that is a freak about having farriers handle his feet. Doesn't mind me, but I can't endanger any more shoers. So. Decided to have a trimmer show me how to do it properly, and I needed some reasonably priced equipment. The reviews for this item were positive, so I decided to give it a try.

Do these nippers stay sharp long?
A shopper on Dec 18, 2014
Best Answer: I have five horses all unshod that I trim myself. the nippers have been used regularly on all of my horses throughout the summer and fall. As of right now they still don't need sharpening. I have one standardbred mare that has the hardest hooves, I wait until after rain to trim her to get her feet to soften up just a touch. These nippers have been used on her as well. I would say that they are durable and of good quality at a reasonable price.
