I have tried MTG on my horse and it really helped on scrapes & bug bites. Reading the reviews has opened my eyes to other ways of using this product. MTG is always in my grooming box. I love this stuff! It's helped my mares tail grow out, and get rid of her really bad dander. It's also great for softening up old scabs or healing bug bites. You just have to much sure you put it on at night so they oil doesn't get to hot during the day. Otherwise I recommend it to all my horse friends.

I bought this when my horse got rain rot and it did wonders! Although I bought it at Tractor Supply and paid $20 the price is worth it! It cleared up the rain rot in just a week with just one application a day. I use it on scratches and dogs hot spots! I still have almost a full bottle left! The smell its not that bad. It's like minty bacon! Great buy!

when my gelding got scratches i started using this on him every day for one week and it worked great!!!! the smell is terrible though, but i don't mind. i am starting to use this on my mares mane, forelock, and tail and am already seeing an improvement!!!

Bought and use it for dry frizzy mane & tail, but love it for minor skin problems such as rain rot and bug bites. Coal tar shampoo still sold for scalp problems, and that's the BBQ smell. My horse always looks at me & sniffs where I've used it, but the flies don't seem that fond of it either! A must have in my grooming kit.

I LOVE MTG!That annoying rain rot my gelding had on his back legs is gone! Also great for main and tail growth. When I first got my horse, his tail stopped at the tail bone. Now, after MTG, his tail almost touches the ground. Yes, it does smell, but who cares? This stuff is magic in a bottle. I would recommend it to anyone!

I will start by saying like other reviewers, the smell is really strange, like a mix of BBQ and bacon, however that's the only fault of the product. I have been using this product every week on my mare's mane, forelock and tail for 2 months now. Her forelock is 3 inches longer and THICK! Her mane is much thicker, longer and looks luxurious. Her tail is so amazing other horse owners in the barn have bought MTG for their horses. LOVE this product. It WORKS.

I love this product, it help my Florida cracker 13.2 pony with his forelock mane and tail but the disclaimer is is smells like baco to me i dont like so i gave it to my sister

It works great on all of my horses but it has a really strange smell (like BBQ sauce). I highly recommend buying it if you haven't already but, I also recommend applying it with gloves so the grease and smell doesn't get all over you.
