I have owned an Oster ClipMaster Clipper one speed clipper many years ago and loved it for my horses. Now I am upgrading to a new variable speed. I am sure it will be wonderful. I can't wait to get it. Also, it is a super price. Thank you.

would like to buy surgical blades for the oster 610 clipmaster?
A shopper on Apr 30, 2015
Best Answer: Unfortunately, there are no surgical blades for this clipper. The only blade that is compatible with this clipper is item # 190593.

How do these do with bridle paths? The lightweight ones don't seem to handle mane!
Marsha A on Apr 1, 2015
Best Answer: Unfortunately, we do not use these on horses. We have two Old English Sheepdogs that we shear with them. I can tell you that these shears are the best that we have been able to find. OES hair is very thick an, in places, coarse and these handle the job fine. Much better than an Oster A5. We got the recommendation and idea from a shelter that only handles sheepdogs and they have been using these shears for years. I am sure that they will work well on a horse.

are these quiet? almost silent?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2014
Best Answer: I haven't used mine but one time since I got them. They are "quiet" for a clipper this size... but Silent? No, not silent. I do give Ace to my horse when I have to body clip him just to get the edge off and I can clean his sheath too. :)
