It's hard to find a 24' girth with center ring for a breast collar that is this nice, for this price!
Saundra P on Feb 8, 2015
Needed a girth with D-ring so I could add a breastplate.

The girth appeared to provide comfort and good reviews. Also having a D ring on the girth itself AWESOME!!

it was one of the few girths that came in a small enough size for my arab welsh pony :) i can't wait to give it a try!

I am hesitant about the elastic attaching the buckles. How durable is it? I have show Paso Finos and would not want the elastic to allow the saddle to move when mounting. Is this a problem? I get it for jumpers but we don't jump just gait in shows.

Best Answer: Well according to State Line tack, I purchased one of these. I am a very large woman and have a Tennessee Walker. I use this girth with my treeless Barefoot Saddle, and have no slip issues at all. Even when mounting. Quite frankly, I did not notice it even had elastic on it!!! I have used English girths with elastic before, so I know what you mean. I also use a breast collar, so finding a dressage girth with a d-ring is not easy. I have put quite a few miles on it riding trails in the Blue Ridge mountains, and never had a girth sore. Cleans easy. I recommend it.

what is this girth made of? cloth? neoprene? leather?
A shopper on Oct 20, 2014
Best Answer: The top is something like cloth-or woven canvas-like material. The underside I believe is neoprene or something similar that has a waffle pattern, I'm assuming to help it breathe. Overall its very sturdy, well made, and easy to clean. However, I ended up getting a different one after using it for a few months. My horse is used to more traditional neoprene or leather and she did not like this girth. That being said, I also used it on another horse that had no problems with it.
