Was hesitant to order these after reading reviews, but have been very pleased. Mounted them as instructed in my run-in shed, but added big washers to the bolts for stability. Horses have not bent or torn them down, and they have not broken after almost a year. Couldn't be happier with them. Only thing is that I don't believe the advertising that each holds a full bale of hay is accurate. Maybe half a bale at most. Minor detail.

Just received yesterday. No rust, no sharp edges, and no faulty screws. I'll admit the hollow bars make it a bit light and I could see how a horse might bang it up a bit, but for our mini donkeys it's just perfect. We fork in rolled hay which might be lighter than square bale flakes. I'm not sure how it would hold a whole square bale. Overall, I found the quality to be good and you can't beat the price. I would recommend this product as a "light use" product. If you have a herd of big hungry horses, get the solid constructed hay rack. =D

Total waste of money. Great idea, but poorly constructed. Folds up for easier shipping, but then breaks when you put large quantities of hay in it and isnt that the purpose of the product. Broke within 2 weeks of using it, then was dangerous for my horse. Dont buy it.

Horrible construction. One came out of the box rusty. Bars have snapped on two out of three I ordered already. Cheaply made...dangerous to the horse.

At the elbown of the rack there are joints held by small screws. These screws were either faulty or cheap a couple caps broke off during assembly. I needed something installed that day so I used duck tape. So far the duck tape has held up to the task better than the screws. Not sure I would buy another one , EVEN at 40 off

Racks have hinge & rivets where the bottom of the tube curve to allow it to fold during shipping. The exposed rivets makes it a hazard to small aminals when pushing nose through lower section of rack to reach hay. If they could have made it solid without hinge & rivets, would be a nice rack.

Great concept though the actual constriction needs work, the bars are actually hollow. Would be a much better product if it was soild construction. I had to repair it twice before buying a soild bar construction, normal horse uses caused to of the bar to come loose at the weld.

I ordered 5 hay racks, some of them came broken, no directions on how to assemble them, it only came with nuts, no bolts. Its a bit disapointing....
