The SMx Air Ride™ OrthoSport™ Pad provides the essential fit that both aged and more prominent-withered horses need to achieve an optimum level of comfort. In addition to the many benefits that the patented SMx Air Ride™ padding provides, the OrthoSport™ has a second layer of shock absorbing material strategically located in the dished out area behind the shoulders and along the spine, creating an even saddle fit from front to back. This improved fit assists in relieving pressure from the spine and kidney area while allowing additional airflow along the horse’s back. 100% merino wool lining helps wick away moisture and conforms to the horse’s back to provide maximum comfort.

Good Pad, 1/30/2012

My Ma wasn't sure bout the pad. So I started using it with a tacky-too liner under it and it works like a dream. I aint crazy bout the fleece bottom, I'd rather have felt, but other than that we both like it. Another thing we like about it, is that it is gorgeous on every one of our horses.

No more dry spots, 1/25/2012

My gelding would always end up with dry spots just behind his withers...but not with this pad. I was VERY happy with the price. Don't waste your money on a cheaper pad, you'll probably end up with this one in the end.
