Does NOT Hold Up, 7/6/2009
Caitlyn from Maryland

This product fell apart after only a few uses! I kept it in my horse's stall and after the salt lick was only partly eaten it just fell out. Then, it broke, began to rust after the top layer came off, and dangerous pointy edges stuck out! I would not recommend this product to anyone!

I bought this salt block holder and it was broken within a month. When it was broken off, the plastic coating came off and the sharp ends stick out and scratched my horse. This is a very dangorious product. I would not recommend this priduct to anyone!!

If you put the slat licks up past the horses withers then they wont be able to rub on them and break them. We have found that these salt block holders not only work well for horse but also for goats.

Poor, 4/11/2008
Debbie from Greenfield, IN

I purchased 3 of these and 2 of my horses have already broken them. They are not tough enough for use around horses and the design makes it hard for the horses to really be able to get to them. When the block is down to 75 they start falling out of the holder. Once the mineral block falls out if the horses lean against them at all the holder bends or breaks easily.
