Ten diagonal openings regulate the amount of hay taken out at a time, minimizing waste and encouraging your horse to eat more slowly. Mesh bottom allows dirt and debris to fall through. Loved it in package-not in use, 5/3/2012

I loved this hay bag when I pulled it out of the box. The loading and hanging was easy in the trailer. However, after the first use all of the straps were pulled out. I would not recommend this product, waste of time and $$.

I used this hay bag literally three times and then the diagonal straps ripped and the hay fell out all over the floor of my trailer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product. Don't waste your money!

Weak Product, 8/15/2011

At first I loved this product. The top loading feature works well and doesn't allow the horse to eat out of the top. It can fit several flakes of hay. After using it 5-10 times for less than an hour the diagonal staps broke. I reinforced it with a sewing machine, but when I used it all week for a show the straps broke again and the bottom ripped open. It's pretty useless now.
