These are decent fly boots for the price. The contoured shape fits better than the straight kinds and the furry inside keeps them from rubbing raw spots. They seem the most comfortable for the horses. I was concerned they would be too hot with the liner (I'm in TX) but I never noticed any issues with that. They do pick up shavings, burrs etc. and the outside will tear pretty easy so I wouldn't turnout with them if you are worried about that.

We have used these in the past and the ones we got were not large. We ordered a large and a regular set last time and found the large fit well. The horses like them, they are durable, need the straps sewed on a little better, and they work.

Will the LARGE size fit my 17.3 hand Percheron draft horse (weighs 2,100 lbs)?
kamismith on May 28, 2015
Best Answer: We do offer draft size fly boots. Please take a look at the Kensington Draft Fly Boots (item E006432) or the Cashel Leg Guard (item E008636).
