can i hook a lead rope to it instead of the one attached?
Georgia M on Sep 29, 2014
Best Answer: I did. I untied the lead and attached a regular snap to the lead. I used wire ties to attach mine but they sell a clamp that you can attach it with. I looked at lead ropes in the local store to see how they attach the snap. I love my halter it works great on my horse!

I have a huge 16 2 gelding is this big enough for a bigger horse or will it fit snug?
A shopper on Feb 2, 2015
Best Answer: Yes, it should fit just fine. My quarter horse has a relatively small head, but I used the halter on her and a friend's 16.3 hand paint gelding who has a monstrous head, and it fit him fine! Great halter for the money.
