Product Summary:

Unique new design that creates a "tunnel" along the spine which provides air to flow between the pad and the horse's back. Keeps your horse feeling cooler and drier on those warm days. Also has a close contact cut to allow for better feel and connection with your horse. Contoured spine helps to alleviate pressure points & allows for more natural fit. Reinsman's exclusive Tacky Too® bottom is a non-slip material that is anti-bacterial, ventilated, pressure distributing, shock absorbing, and deceptively tough and durable. It does not pull or collect the horse's hair nor does it trap heat or sweat. Reduce sore backs and saddle roll! Low maintenance, easy to clean and quick drying. Dimensions: 31"x32".

I only saw one review on this site about this pad. It said they liked it for mules...Anyone else use this on mules or have an opinion?

Best Answer: I like the tunnel pads. This particular one with the contoured bottom I purchased for a fatter horse that got pressure marks on his lower sides. I think this one fills his top more thinning out his girth area. I really like the feel of this pad. I am a believer in the the tunnel padding which is great to lift saddle off the spine area I have a trail ride stable most clients are beginners so I feel these pads help the horses backs immensely. Another bonus is that they stay clean as opposed to the fleece but every once in a while they will rub at the very back of pad where the stitching roll is then I will put a fleece pad under them.
