Why did you choose this?
Is this for western saddles?
Best Answer: It could be used for western saddles but probably only one at a time. I love my cart--saves a lot of steps-- but like any product, it isn't perfect. It gets very heavy with a cutback and coolers and tack boxes. It doesn't roll over door thresholds very easily when fully loaded and if you fill the pocket holder on the back, plus saddles etc., it can tip backwards. For me, for what it does do it's pretty close to perfect. For a Westerm saddle I might use it in conjunction with a free standing, rolling saddle rack. I never carry what I can roll!!
Does this fold?
Best Answer: No, it doesn't fold, but the top half comes off. The saddle racks come off and the handle has two pins holding it in that come out for easy breakdown.
Will it fold down and fit in a trunk?
Best Answer: Yes. The back will slide down to about half its size......but before you buy, be aware that I had a problem with the weight of my western saddle bent the prongs that held the actual saddle rack on to the frame. My saddle is not very heavy...no silver, but over a 6 month period of only using it for shows, the saddle rack now angles down and my saddle slips off. For this years show season I am going to have to rebend the prongs or have someone weld heavier ones on :(
Would like to purchase an extra basket to attach to cart. Where would I be able to get one?
Best Answer: Not sure where you could put an extra basket or how you would attach it.
Where can I get replacement wheels for this? My tires went flat.
Best Answer: We would suggest contacting the manufacturer directly. Galaxy Equine can be toll-free at 866-784-7313.
