I love these boots! They have held up so well and my boy destroys everything.

My horse paddles slightly with her front legs at the trot so I am getting her a set of open front boots to protect her legs.

Liked them for my horse.

Roma is a brand I really trust and this is the best deal I've found for front and hind open front boots.

Would these boots be too big for a 14.2-14.3 hand horse?
Marissa B on Jan 9, 2014
Best Answer: I bought the horse size and they just fit my 16.3h mare, but she doesn't have huge legs. If you have a large boned pony they would work. In fact, a set is being used on a large pony at the barn who is 1/2 QH and so has normal horse sized bone, but I wouldn't by for a fine boned TB or Arab or Welsh pony.

I have a 13.2 pony for jumping will these fit her?
sara j on May 24, 2015
Best Answer: These fit my 17H warm blood so unless the pony is very stocky I would guess they are too large.

what size are they?
A shopper on Feb 11, 2015
Best Answer: Here are some measurements to help you figure it out. In general, these have fit both of the warmbloods I've been riding, one petite - 16h and 16.2 Hope this helps!! Size Large: Front boots--- Overall, 10 1/4" tall
At top: 7", then open front. At middle: 7" then open front/velcro. At widest part of the bottom: 9 3/4". The middle velcro is 5 1/2" long, of which 4" is velcro. The hind boots: Overall 6 1/4" tall, the bottom widest part is 10 1/2" wide.

Hope that helps!!

I have a 15.3 draft cross. Big boned. Do you think they would be too small?

Do the white ones stain or can you wipe/hose them off?
Z W on Oct 4, 2015
Best Answer: They're plastic-y material on the outside so you should just be able to clean them with a damp cloth (I've got the navy ones and they clean up well).

are these boots for ponies?
A shopper on May 24, 2015
Best Answer: I got a pair in Navy and they fit my 17.2hh app/TB perfectly, so I'd guess they will be too big for a pony, unless they have very thick legs.

Will these boots fit my 15hh Arabian? We plan on eventing this year and need some boots.
Horse P on Jan 18, 2016
Best Answer: I ended up buying 2 sets of the Eskadron boots. Much better quality. They fit my super skinny legged 17.1hand OTTB.

How exactly do these boots go on and are they only for the front?
A shopper on Nov 10, 2015
Best Answer: Hmmm--there are 4. . .so 2 are for the front and two are for the back. The velcro strap that says Roma is on the outside of the leg. Long ones go in front. The velcro straps come around the front of the leg and attach, then the strap that says Roma comes down over the top of them. They are form fitting so it is fairly easy to figure out where they should be placed on the leg.
