I started taking some new lessons and the crops they had were really short and the handles would always fall off while i was riding. I ordered this crop and it's a VERY good crop. My horse responds to it right away!I love it, but i don't think Ducky (my horse) likes it that well, lol.

Its an ok product because, I am soon going to "exersize" horses for someone and he has big and small horses and on this one particular horse I rode just yesterday and he did not respond to it because i couldn't get it to wear I needed to hit him with the crop so he wouldn't respond and he wouldn't "wake up" as they would call it so the owner of the barn had to give me a whip. I dont recommend it for larger horses. Any good whip recomondations?

I have had this crop for several years and it still looks new. Love the fact that when I drop it or leave it laying about, the bright color makes it very easy to spot! My horse doesn't like it, lol, but I do!

I ride a horse, that is very slow. My legs use to hurt after my lesson beacuse I would have to get her soo much! After i got this crop Star doesn't refuse jumps, or anything! I give it two thumbs up and one BIG smile! :)

The quality does not reflect in the price, this a well made crop. I like the length, I like the overall stiffness of the crop, and the leather pad at the end is a decent size and thickness to give a good 'whap' without a sting. Works well for my willful horse. I give it a 5 star approval, my horse gives it a 1 star lol

Durable, perfect length, and fun colors. I would say my horse likes it but typically when I have to use it he doesn't ;) The strap is great for out on course or eventing.

I have a really stubborn horse! If you don't have a crop, then you just sit there for hours kicking and giving commands and tugging on the reins. He WON'T BUDGE! I had a crop before this, but the horses found it and tore it apart! This allows me to ride securely and safely, and keep my horse under control! Thanx horse.com!

How crazy is it that SLT is the only place i can find a decent BLACK crop? Everywhere else has fancy black ones, or colorful ones, but none as basic as this. All I need is basic, and the price is perfect. Love it.

I bought this crop. It helped me register cues to my horse better. Plus before I went in the shoiw ring last year, after I bought this crop, I worked her on responding to me perfectly in the warm up ring. It really woked! I like the lenght 22 is not too short or too long. I lost my old one this winter and it was such a great tool, I am buying another one this year!
