Product Summary:
Safe-Guard® Equi-bits™ are alfalfa-based pellets that let you feed and deworm in a single step.

Armed with fenbendazole, the active ingredient in all Safe-Guard products, Equi-bits pellets control large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms and ascarids. Safe-Guard Equi-bits are safe for all horses, including foals and pregnant mares.

This single dose treatment makes rotational deworming a breeze!

Just combine these palatable pellets with your ration of choice. On deworming day, replace your usual daily ration with an amount equal to the pellets provided in the handy foil pouch. Safe-Guard Equi-bits do the rest. One pouch will treat 1,250 lbs. of body weight in one meal.

All horses must be eating normally to ensure that each animal consumes an adequate amount of the medicated feed.

For a ONE (1) day treatment, add Safe-Guard Equi-bits Top Dress Pellets to the daily ration at the rate of 1.0 pound for each 1,000 pounds body weight (5 mg/kg fenbendazole). A 1.25-pound container will treat 1,250 lbs. of body weight.

Feed for ONE (1) DAY as above. No prior withdrawal of feed or water is necessary. Regular deworming at intervals of 6 to 8 weeks may be required due to the possibility of reinfection. Ascarid infections are most common in young animals.

For the treatment of ascarids, for a ONE (1) day treatment, add Safe-Guard Equi-bits Top Dress Pellets to the daily ration at the rate of 1 lb. for each 500 lbs. of body weight (10 mg/kg fenbendazole). A 1.25-pound container will treat 625 lbs. of body weight.

Warning: Do not use in horses intended for food. Keep this and all medication out of the reach of children. Not for use in humans.

Store at or below 25 degrees C (77 degrees F). Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment and control of parasitism.

First time with Equi-Bits, 9/12/2009
Ben Carlton from Douglas, Ga.

Previously I used Iverease worm pellets for horses who would not accept paste. I recently learned Iverease has been discontinued and upon recommendation bought Equibits for my gelding who won't take paste. He ate the Equibits completely and quickly even though I put very little feed with it. He probably would have eaten it by itself.

Elysha SR from Roseville, CA

My horse loves it...doesnt even know they are there. I can feed them plain out of the bag or mix in with feed and he is none the wiser. Its so nice not having to deal with headthrowing. I love equibits!
