Product Summary:

Safe-Fence Vinyl Sleeve for Steel T-Post

The Safe-Fence vinyl sleeve is attractive, functional, affordable and easy to install.  Constructed from the same material used in vinyl window and door frames, it is compounded with adequate amounts of UV and color stabilizers to deter the effects of the elements, primarily the sun.

Slip this dirctly over your steel T-Posts.  It can be easily attached with screws (which are not included).  Sleeve provides a great look, while protecting your horse from injury on T-posts.  Each vinyl sleeve comes complete with durable polyethylene cap and will not crack or splinter if cribbed.

Sold individually.

Specifications:
Sleeves measure 2" square and 5' long.

How tall are these sleves?
sheri f on Mar 11, 2014
Best Answer: Sheri,
The sleeves are 5' tall. They look great and are withstanding the bitter cold very well.

As an FYI, if you are in a cold region, go with the Safe Fence corners & end tensioners. I initially bought the Fi-shock, but they broke the first winter, just from the fence tension. I replaced with the Safe Fence and they have held up great this winter, which was much colder than the past 2 years.

The question was "HOW TALL ARE THESE SLEEVES?" Someone said 5' tall, someone else said they fit over 6' tall T posts and someone else says about 6'. Could someone please take an actual measurement and give the actual length of the post.
Thanks

Best Answer: We used them with 6' T posts, so they are FIVE feet, not 6. They are nice, but keep in mind that they do not have any form fitting sleeve on the inside, so they are a loose fit over the posts. That being said, they look a lot nicer than straight T posts.

How tall? How wide? Do they come in 6x6 (5.5x5.5)? what colors? How thick is the vinyl. In short, how about some descriptive info on the product. Sheesh!
A shopper on Jun 24, 2015
Best Answer: So the sleeves are about 5' tall. They come in black and white I believe. The vinyl is decently thick, as you do have to use a drill to make holes for the tape connectors. I found them to be an easy to use product that fit nicely over a standard t-post. I think we spaced the tape strands 16"-18" apart with four strands of tape. Keeps my 17 hand warmblood in! Hope that helps?
