I recommend these boots to everyone, but especially people with kids who ride. I've worn the adult version of these for the past five years, they wear out faster than expensive leather boots (my old ones were very cracked by year three and I had to replace them) but they are super comfortable and look great! Especially with kids, it isn't important for a pair of boots to last for years since they grow out of them so fast, so nice cheap comfortable boots are perfect.

These boots are great for riding. Although they run extra small. When you ride with them on they help you give better aids. They are so cute and comfortable! They are the best!

My daughter started horseback riding recreationally when she was almost 6. After the first two lessons I found Horse.com and bought a pair of Saxon Equileather Paddok boots. Roughtly each year since I've bought the next size up as she's outgrown the boots. They work out great for us as the nearest tack shop doesnt' carry alot of children's sizes. I always seem to catch the sale price and often combine with riding tights to meet free shipping offers. Great for recreational needs.

These boots were great until I began trotting and cantering for longer periods of time. Then they started burning my feet! Also, early on the zipper popped off and some of the seams started to tear. I guess it is ok for the sale price but I got mine on regular price so it was NOT worth $40! I would reccomend these boots to very young children ONLY (only walking or basic trotting)I do not think that these boots are fit for long rides. They were however comfortable until the burning began and the ventalation seems to work (no sweaty feet) Overall, I would only give these boots 3 stars.

I somehow missed the review that stated that these boots ran small. I saw several other reviews, however, and since State Line does not carry the Dover Tall boot in the size we needed, we decided to order these instead. Huge mistake. I paid for second day air, and when they arrived they were so small my daughter could barely get them on her feet. She is ten and wears a four in all of her other shoes, so I assumed that ordering up a size was safe. I probably needed to order up two sizes just to have them fit. I am sending them back, and won't order again. It is not worth the hassle to order boots that should fit, only to discover that they are ridiculously too small even after ordering up a size. I will drive the hour and a half to a tack store and get them "locally". These are made in China as well.

These boots suck, I wore them one time to ride and when I got off and started barn work the sole seperated from the boot. Never again will I buy these. I have to admit the price is tempting.

These are snug, comfortable boots that clean very easily. Easy on, easy off. I was disappointed however because the zipper popped off after only 3 non-intense lessons.

My daughter is in her 2nd pair of Saxons. I prefer the Zip tops because they are the quickest to get onlace ups fit more snug though. They run small in size, so you will want to order up in size. Easy to rinse off with water hose too!

my 7 yr old has worn these boots until she out grew them. They were easy for her to put on. They did not cause any blisters. I am ordering another pair in a new size today. The price makes it pain free to replace for a fast growing chiled.
