Not what I purchased. I have the half-chaps in black, size small. Love them. Look great, too.

Price was right. Didn't want to spend too much cause I didn't know if I would like half chaps. Never worn them before.

they look like leather but the price is right.

How do you measure the height of your leg for Saxon Equileather half chaps?
A shopper on Nov 8, 2014
Best Answer: I have long calves with a large circumference and these fit me perfectly. I'd measure from the bottom of the arch of your boot, up, but the bottom part is elastic so it will stretch... not sure if that's helpful but I love mine :)

Boots included too?
A shopper on Nov 27, 2014
Best Answer: Boots are sold separately. The picture is just to give you an idea of what the half chaps look like while being worn.

do the sizes run small or big?
halzy14 on Nov 8, 2014
Best Answer: They were true to fit. I measured my calf and bought the size that coordinated with the measurement. They have a nice stretch panel by the zipper so they fit snug but not too tight. I have had these for over a year and they still look new when cleaned up with a damp cloth.

How do these fit over winter paddock boots? I have Ariat half chaps size XS that won't zip over the ankle area.
A shopper on Jan 14, 2015
Best Answer: Mine were very much on the tight side, so ordering a larger size might be a good idea, but...

I found the quality to be not that great (zipper broke after a few months), and they don't breath so are very warm.

I am vegan so I don't buy any products made from animals or animal by-products. Do you sell any cruelty free i.e. vegan half chaps?
Tracey S on Jul 5, 2014
Best Answer: These Saxon Equileather half chaps or any of our other synthetic half chaps are not made from leather, so perhaps they may suit your needs. We do also offer a fair amount of synthetic tack.

If I have a 13'' calf width and 15'' height, what size should I purchase? Small or Medium?
Megan R on Oct 13, 2015
Best Answer: You will need to decide if you want to go with a small and have the height a 1/2" short or if you'd prefer to go with the medium and have the calf 3/4" bigger.

*Be sure you are taking your calf measurement while wearing your riding pants.
