I wore these the day after i got them. they were stiff at first, but personally i loved it because i want it to form and fit my shape perfectly. I also think its fun to break them in! they are also super easy to clean so dont be afraid to get them muddy.

Just used these for my first time today! They are great! They are so compfy and look great with my Ariat boots. Would buy them again in a second.

These half chaps look really nice on. They look and feel like leather. Have been holding up to repeated ridings nicely with no problems.

At first I was a bit concerned about buying these, I am not usually a fan of equileather. However, these are the best half chaps that I own! Cleaning them in a breeze, and they look like tall leather boots when they are on! These chaps help keep your leg still and heels down (at least they have for me!), and I have had very few problems with buttons snapping. They are a bit snug/tall, but are generally true to size.

I'm usually a western rider, but I've been part of the Etowah County mounted unit for a little over a year now, which requires an English type dress boot. I'm on a tight budget so I purchased the half chaps and a pair of the pattock boots. I haven't been able to actually wear them outside yet. However, I just purchased them only a month or so ago. Our unit when I joined was very slim and not really doing anything but we are coming back so this is the reason I purchased the set. They seem to be breaking in quite nicely. The only issue with the chaps is I didn't really consider the clothing I would be wear under the chaps so they are a bit tight. I plan on purchasing the actual dress boots by saxon at some point. However, these I think are going do me just fine.

I was shocked at how much nicer these look in person than in the photo. They fit and feel awesome, and riding in them has been a dream. I haven't had any issues with the snaps popping off while riding or doing barn chores as is mentioned in a previous review. For the price this is an awesome half chap.

I bought these half chaps about 5 months ago and they are holding up perfectly! Do to other reviews I was nervous about how it would hold up but they are perfect. I love them. these are my first set of half chaps and they are much more comfortable then riding in just paddock boots. I've shown in them and continue to keep showing in them. They are super easy to clean, and look brand new with lather cleaner. You can even just wipe them off! I was very impressed with them and would recamend them to anyone I meet. (I use them 3 times a week sense about April)

At first blush these seemed like great half-chaps, nice looking, comfortable. After a few minutes of riding the snaps around the heel kept poping off, then when walking they kept popping off. Very annoying. Sad to say we will take them right back, they were driving my daughter nuts during her lesson. A real shame.
