I love the look of these boots. This is my first pair of riding boots. They take some getting used to but overall, I love them. Still breaking them in.

can you use these for trail riding under jeans?
Barbara S on Nov 3, 2013
Best Answer: I guess you could, these boots are tall and go to just below the knee. I wore them for dressage lessons and my calfs would sometimes sweat with socks on. I liked the boots for the most part, but for me here in Florida they didn't hold up but for 8 months. The material on foot began to peel off and then within 1 1/2 months the sole came off one of the boots. It may have just been my luck. Good luck in your riding and I hope this helped.

do they break in as well as leather boots?
becca on May 23, 2014
Best Answer: My daughter wore them every day for two weeks straight out of the box and never complained. She loves her boots comfy and they look really sharp.

I wear a 6, but my calf is a minimum 15 inches with breeches on. Does the elastic on the zipper have enough stretch? The size chart isn't promising.
Tari C on Sep 2, 2015
Best Answer: I didn't like these boots, granted they aren't real leather, so of course they aren't as stretchy as leather. The elastic didn't give a whole lot of give and they were really uncomfortable. Retuned them because the calf was really tight and didn't zip all the way, plus one of the zippers didn't even work. I'd go with a boot you can try on and send back for free. The mountain horse wides fit me perfect.
